Intended Usage

This endpoint is only necessary when a cinema chain utilizes a payment gateway that requires a client token e.g. Braintree. If you are unsure whether you will need to use this endpoint, please contact us at [email protected] for guidance.

This endpoint returns a payment client token, which can then be used to authorize a client to make a payment via a payment gateway.

If a cinema chain does not support creation of payment client tokens then a request to this endpoint will return error code 40034 with a message stating that the cinema chain does not support the requested feature.
